The Indian Economic Service cut-off depends on a variety of factors including category of the candidate, difficulty of the IES Exam and number of vacancies. For instance, the IES 2024 cut-off for the General category was 560/1200 for final selection in 2024 (419/1000 was written stage cut-off). Compared to IES 2023 Exam (549) and 2022 (545), cut-offs show a steady deviation of 2-5% annually, depending on number of vacancies and difficulty of the exam.
